Education Program Bookings

Exciting news from the museum

The Adelaide Holocaust Museum is currently closed to the public following an extensive renovation.  However, we are excited to announce that the Andrew Steiner Education Centre re-opened for on-site education programs in Term 1, 2026.  We look forward to our permanent and temporary exhibition spaces becoming available later this year.

Our flagship program, Introduction to the Holocaust, is designed for this compulsory component of the Australian Curriculum Year 10 History course on World War II. It is also suitable for other cohorts to begin, refresh or revise learning about the Holocaust, including SACE Stage 2 Modern History. For further information, please register for one of our 30-minute fortnightly online briefings or consult our Teacher Briefing for detailed information.

Currently, this program is only available to schools as an on-site excursion. Our education sessions have set starting times of 10 AM and 12:30 PM. Teachers are invited to enquire about our subsidy to help overcome geographic disadvantage. Online options for regional and remote sites will be available later in 2026.

Please contact our Education Manager to discuss how we can cater for other subjects and classes.

Please note that we cannot guarantee a Holocaust Survivor will be available on the day to speak to your group. Thank you in advance for your understanding that our highest priority is our volunteers’ well-being.

Please fill in the form below to begin a booking or make a general enquiry about our education sessions.
